At Istana Hotel, I'm stunned with the buffet menu. I have to admit that it has the widest spread of ramadhan buffet by far, and it is full of my favourite seafood, whether in malay or western cooking style. I have to admit that it has the widest spread of ramadhan buffet by far, and it is full of my favourite seafood, whether in malay or western cooking style. The ambiance is very grand, but nevertheless it gives a comfortable feel because of many homey dishes.
Sup Ekor LembuOne of the favourite of mine would be the oxtail soup, simply rich with hints of sourish assam flavour. Slow-cooked for several hours, the broth is an enjoyable dish for the health goodness. The soup is neither too salty nor bland for me, and I love matching it with some fluffy nasi bukhari to enhance the taste. Overall, the buffet is quite hearty for me, satisfying my palate.
