Occupying a pretty small kiosk at the far end of Tokyo Street on Level 6 at Pavilion KL; RT Pastry House only sells their chilled cakes here, more notably their famous Hokkaido Cupcakes. And in a variety of flavors too ! Original, Strawberry and Chocolate,amongst others. I still prefer their Original..the other 2 flavors doesn't taste as good. Surprisingly though.. business' not as good as their full-fledged bakeries.. I always see the sales assistant looking around and very bored.. hmm...

RT Pastry House @ Pavilion, located at tokyo street. this special muffin is really good to try on and can take away for your loved ones to enjoy and as a pack of gift is also very presentable.A light dusting of icing sugar and fresh cream in the centre makes you the perfect treat.here have cakes, cheese loaf, pastries,cookies and fresh breads.this original hokkaido cake is really tasty comes in a box of 6 pieces.They also have Strawberry flavour that looks interesting.the taste is like butter cake very soft and inside is very creamy.can keep for 3 days in the fridge and remain freshalso nice is the taro swiss roll was soft and fluffy, and the cream filling was pretty generous and nice. really special desserts to try on

It basically a light chiffon cake with a whipped cream filling and dusted with icing sugar.We bought 1 box of Hokkaido cake-original flavour (Vanilla)The cake was very light and not too sweet.Love the cream filling in the centre and it best eaten when chilled. There are 3 flavours for the cake: vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.Price: RM16.80 per box (6 cup in a box)** Will try the next visit the chocolate and flavours

After the first try of the original Hokkaido cake, i am tempted to try the strawberry flavors one. The Hokkaido cake is beautifully seated in the lovely pink cup. I took the first bite straight away after the purchase. The sponge cake was really soft and the strawberry cream inside tasted like strawberry mouse. The cake was cold, just taken out from their refrigerator. The strawberry taste is very lovely. It tasted a hint of sweetness, but there is also a mild strawberry sourness. Some icing sugar sprinkled on top. The Hokkaido cake should be kept refrigerated and consume as soon as possible.

This is the famous Hokkaido Cake from RT Pastry.There are 3 flavours for the cake: vanilla, chocolate and stawberry.I have tried the chocolate flavour and I think it doesn't taste as nice as Vanilla flavour.Here is the Vanilla Hokkaido Cake and I think this is the best sponge cake I have ever ate before!Unlike other sponge cake, there is some vanilla cream inside the sponge cake.However, the cream tastes just nice, fully enriched with milk flavour yet not too greasy.The cake itself is very soft and smooth, and very delicious.This Hokkaido cake has to be kept inside refrigerator.Even taken out from the fridge, the cake still tastes very soft and nice.One box contains six pieces of cake, and the price per box is around RM16+.There are also many other cakes available in the shop, but I have not yet tried the others before.
