Coffee Snow Ice Smile Aug 18, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Café | Desserts

Tong Pak Fu, is one of the famous Hong Kong style dessert specialize shop. This is my first time trying Hong Kong style dessert. The restaurant environment is nice, with some very creative design in their interior and even the spoon and bowl.

The presentation is very nice and and comes in quite a big portion. This make us crazy to snap photo with it before start eating. The coffee snow ice is rich with coffee flavor, quite soft, not sweet and cool. Definitely suitable to those coffee lover. It comes with side toppings like red bean, glass jelly and strawberry. The red bean seem not that fresh, while the strawberry taste a bit sour.

Ice dessert @ Ice Bowl Smile Aug 18, 2012

Ice bowl is one of the well known dessert shop that selling taiwanese dessert and mango dessert at SS2, Petaling Jaya. The shop is quite similar to Snowflake, with some unique self creation of dessert.

I have ordered this bowl of dessert with barley, pearl, glass jelly and sweet potato as topping and soya bean drink spread to whole bowl dessert. It's not that sweet, with fragrance Soya mix to the finely shaved ice. The sweet potato is soft, while the pearl look fresh and quite chewy.

The price is about RM6.90 per bowl.

Steam Egg  Smile Aug 17, 2012   (Related Review)

Restaurant SinKee is a typical chinese restaurant, which located near KL sentral. Inside the restaurant, all tables are in round shape, which very suitable for reunion dinner.

The steam egg is cooked with preserved egg and some soy sauce. The egg is a bit salty and oily, but it's great to eat it with white rice. Steam egg is soft in texture, but not that fragrance; so overall it's an look unattractive but taste not bad dish.

Soft Bean Curd with Minced Meat

Restaurant SinKee is a typical chinese restaurant, which located near KL sentral. Inside the restaurant, all tables are in round shape, which very suitable for reunion dinner.

Bean Curd, which also known as tofu, is white and soft, a bit tasteless if not eat with the minced meat spread on the top of bean curd. Minced meat have cooked with onion and soya sauce, which make the whole tofu taste unique and tasty. The meat is not really salty and not oily too.

Overall, it's a very healthy dish and suitable to all age range.

Price:
With Yellow Fragrant Rice - RM16.00,
With Baked Herb Potatoes- RM17.00

Henry Cook is well known Asian Fusion Style restaurant. We can find many new match of dishes which can't easily find in other restaurant.

For all fish lover, besides Steam Fish Fillet, you may tried their Crispy Fish Batter. It served with the sambal, lime, mixed salad and a choice of baked pototoes. It is really a brave try to match fish and chips with the sambal.
The fish is soft, with crispy coated batter; Both the batter coat and the fish is not sticky. Baked potato is great to eat with tasty sauce provided. Potato is soft, easy to chew.
