Steam fish head Smile Dec 19, 2011

Fish is always top in list of food, rich protein and Omega; it's healthier compare to other supplier of protein.

Mun Kee steam fish at Jalan Imbi is known for its reasonable and variety of steamed fish. I always order Garlic and Ginger Steamed Fish, plump and juicy, that its flesh just ‘melts’ in your mouth! It's best to have it with a bowl of hot rice with condiments of chili + garlic + soya sauce, a great satisfactory to your stomach!

Other than the must-have steam fish, I'll recommend steam pork with salted fish.

At the first glance at the exterior design, I was like "wow, nice design", then I know I'll try it.

When first visit (without any recommendation from friends about signature dishes), I'll normally scan through the menu and try to figure out some name of food that can imagine how it looks like. Then I spotted this - Pat Thai Seafood Linguine.

It doesn't taste like common Pat Thai you find at Thailand, but this improved version of Pat Thai with more seafood (basically just prawn and squid, but big one) served with peanut, bean sprouts, and the most important is -- chili flakes!!! I personally like the chile flakes from Thailand, and the chili flakes provided is so familiar for me.

Well, at my second attempt to Ben's Cafe, I still ordered Pat Thai Seafood Linguine!

I like Korean Hot Stone Rice!  Smile Dec 16, 2011
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Korean | Restaurant | BBQ

Yeah, it's Korean food again! This is one of the most-visited Korean restaurant in my list, simple reason, near and delicious!

I have never failed recommendation to my friend so far, all of them give a big thumb's up!

My favorite is Dolsot bibimbap other than Kimchi Jigae (Kimchi rice). Bibimbap is served in hot stone, with rice and seasoned mixed vegetable, and topped with a fried egg & sesame. You have to stir with sweet-spicy sauce together to make it a "ready-to-eat" meal, yes just like you saw from Full House (the Korean drama) how the Song Hye-Kyo stir ALL ingredient together with rice! I love the crisp bits of the rice that was stick on the hot stone bowl.

But if you are BBQ lover, you should try their BBQ set as well. It's highly recommend by my friends.

Somehow, I cannot bear with the strong BBQ smell after that, they really need to improve this~

Even Korean food is one of the expensive food, but I still like it! When there are friend recommend any Korean restaurant, I'll try to make and try it.

Seoul Koren restaurant become one of my favorite (but it's a bit far from where I'm staying).
The must try dish is -- Pork Spare Ribs BBQ!!'lol lol lol

The portion for one person was pretty sizable with ribs well marinated and cooked & served by the waiter/waitress in front of us. The ribs was grilled with onion until the edges were charred and they will cut into small. You must wrap them with lettuce leaves together with the sauce specially made for this. I definitely couldn’t get enough of this! chopstick

So far, this is the Korean restaurant served with most side dishes for FREE (and generous). tongue

Ochado - Milk Tea Smile Dec 13, 2011

Categories : Japanese | Stall / Warung | Juices / Bubble Tea / Tea / Yogurt

Tea, not my first choice of beverage, always coffee comes first. But it's highly recommended by my friend. When I happen pass by, I was attracted by the queue there, I was thinking: "Hm... really nice? Should I try?"

End up, I queue and bought my first Ochado Milk Tea from variety of choices. I have no ideas what all the name a bout, so I just pick one of the name that I can understand from the "Best Seller List" -- Okinawa Milk Tea with add on Ice Jelly.

Yummy

Yummy

For me as coffee lover, it's worth for second trial cos I like to taste of tea which is not too "tea", may be it's mixed with milk, so somehow makes the tea mild. tongue

Hmm... let see what to pick for next visit lol
