Tilapia Fish Smile Jul 24, 2012   (Related Review)

Tilapia Fish
The steamed tilapia fish taste great to me cause the meat is soft and tender and had the sweetness in the meat. The thick and rich assam gravy that cover the tilapia fish is surprisingly good to, as usually I had the watery sauce instead. It provides a strong flavour, mostly spicy to the fish and is appetizing when all the good thing combined as it is magically gelled into every part of the fish..

Northam Beach is an famous food court in Penang near beach. There served variety local and Western cuisines. This is quite special dish Penang Hokkian Mee with very special ingredients. The Hokkian Mee with lots of ingredients, with belly pork, eggs and fish balls. The home made fish ball is very Q and big. The belly pork is very nice, the skin is crispy and the smell is very good. The soup is fresh and sweet, very strong taste with a bit spicy. Overall, this is a very special Penang style Hokkian Mee which you only can find this in Penang. It is very delicious.

Nasi Goreng Kampung & Ribena Limau
Teh Tarik served Malay traditional food and also Asian and Local food. This is Nasi Goreng Kampung which is a very traditional Malay style fried rice but it have own special way to cook this dish. The Traditional style Kampung fried rice is in darker colour but this one the colour is not so dark. The taste is typical Kampung fried rice taste, spicy and come with the crispy ikan bilis. This also fried with egg and big prawn, make this dish more tastier than the traditional one.
For the drink, the combination is quite special but the taste is a bit weird, sweet with sour, not that nice.

Prawn Dim Sum
Yuen Garden located at puchong, a big dim sum house and served many different types of dim sum. This is prawn dim sum which the prawn and pork wrapped with an outer layer, it also known as 虾饺 in Chinese. It tastes not bad because the outer layer is not thick and also not too thin, so it won’t cover the taste of the ingredients inside. The prawn is fresh and big. It is just steamed without any other sauces, so I can totally taste out the fresh and sweetness of the ingredients inside. It served in hot and it is very delicious and tasty.

Loh Bak Gou
Yuen Garden is served various types of dim sum and the price here is reasonable. This is the Loh Bak Gou which known as 萝卜糕 in Chinese. This snack is made by white carrot but the taste is not only the taste of white carrot, it is much tastier than that because it had mix white other ingredients. It fried till very crispy and inside that the ingredients taste is not very strong, light taste but smell very good. The white carrot is a bit sticky and very soft to bite. It is not oily after fried. The portion is quite big also.
