I have passed by the Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling for a number of times, but never notice that there is a cafe just located right beside the roadside. The name board of this cafe is not eye-catching at all, the interior of the cafe is much more eye-catching instead. Although it has a very simple counter & even the bill presented in very simple way, but this is the simple & nice styl...

Wanna chit chatting while having Malay style dinner with friends? You may include Rumah Atap in your option! Teh tarik is smooth and "kaw", and I like ths Kuey Teow Kung Fu which is quite similar to Chinese 滑蛋河, in fact the broth is much more spicy and enriched with egg. Will back again when I am in mood looking for Malay food in Bidor.

Variety of food choices from noodles to rice. The shop open daily from 6.30am to about 3pm. Must try especially their 鸭面/子姜鸭面 & Kopi Ais/Teh Ais Drop Coffee. Besides, their Prawn noodles, Curry, Wantan, 水饺汤 etc are also very "jiang". Is a MUST try if you visit IPOH/Menglembu

It my first time having dinner here. the first thing attract me is the environment at Setia Walk with the lake, garden, pub street and other. It was so beautiful at night with the L.E.D light hang on the street and the reflection of water. Okay, about the restaurant, it was held at second floor if I'm not wrong, then, we sat at the balcony while you can see the wide beautiful view o...

Was here on 5th Jan 2014 to celebrate a dear friend's birthday, but the experience was marred by bad food. Here's the review of the food we ordered - Turkey in a Basket and Pork Knuckle : Pros - The turkey was not bad and the portion is huge, so no complains there. Most of the staff are friendly, and is fairly quick to respond. Cons - The Pork knuckle that...
The Laksa was made of fresh sardines, boiled, deboned n mashed. The soup is nutritious n tantalising as many kampung spices was added to the fish meat. Serving is quite generous and refreshing. One of the very old stalls passing thru 3 generations.
Last December I had the opportunity to attend a Christmas dining experience with Aria Traditional Italian Dining. I've been an absolute fan of Italian food, although sometimes I need to watch the waistline with all the pastas and cheese but Italian food never fail to amaze me to bits. I'm still on the hunt for that perfect Melanzane alla Parmigiana all over KL tho.Ambiance-wi...
The pork bone soup is definitely delicious. Their signature Fish Skin, four season ball, stuffed fish maw, stuffed mushroom, fried squid tentacles etc, all are amazing. They also serve more then 8 choices of sauces. This is the best steamboat i ever had in my life.

The nasi kerabu with chicken curry was a better take than their so called "Nyonya Laksa". This Laksa is supposedly the best seller (as indicated in the menu). Yet it didn't make an impact neither knocked out my palate. The missing element was the creaminess of coconut milk and tasted a bit bland. Nonetheless, it was a generous portion; noodles with two medium size prawns, tofu pok...
One Friday afternoon, I went into this cafe to actually kill time during lunch since I was waiting for someone. Honestly, I went inside because it don't seem to have many customers hence it would make me feel less guilty in staying longer after finishing a meal during the busy lunch hour. I ordered the Honey Glazed Chicken as my meal and at first impression it looks nice. The chicken...
